in the bubbleline

After many months of planning we have finally ticked off  a major bucket list item.

FLY FISHING PATAGONIA

A day's stopover in the Chilean capital of Santiago for some sight seeing and long flight recovery, then 2+ hours flight south to the Aysen regional capital of Coyhaique, our centre for two weeks.

We were overwhelmed by the Chilean hospitality offered by our guide Andres Mickman from Koon Outfitters.

Cooked meals on the river bank each day, with accompanying beers and wine will be sadly missed.

We caught huge numbers of fish, waded and floated some beautiful water and were constantly distracted by amazing ice covered mountainous landscapes.

Our Projects

The more remote the location the better we like it!  An isolated mountain gorge, a tumbling pocket water stream, filled with fit and eager brown and rainbow trout rising inthebubbleline to our dry flies.  This is our studio.
